Again, it's not the gator floating towards old Blue. It's the one whose nose is poised at the edge of where the dog is at. Most times, it isn't the one who I can see which I need to be concerned about. It is the one that I cannot see, which will be the one you will drag the family pet to its death.

My kids caught a baby gator, took it to a friend's house, they and the neighborhood kids played with it for a day, then they took it back to the lake down the road and dropped it off where they got it. Thing was about 4 or 5 foot long if I remember correctly.

I told them try not to do that again.

A 4 ft alligator can remove a limb.
