Nope, I was simply pointing out that "feasts," as such, are not instituted by the Apostles. But if one chooses to set aside a day to celebrate a particular Biblical event, there is no Apostolic prohibition against it, either. This is not what you are advocating. You are advocating Xmas, bottom line. You are celebrating not a Biblical event, but one that had been handed down to you from the Western and Eastern churches. Like I said before, if they never made anything out of it, you would have nothing to do on December 24th to 25th. If you were raised by Eastern Orthodox tradition you would be complaining about January 6-7th.

You don't get to decide what I was or was not advocating. Are we clear on that point or do you need a little more clarification?

There was no self-refuting. I was simply pointing out the inertness of the whole matter. But again, you know that. Stop trying to win a debate and take a brother at his word when he clarifies his remarks.
