I was watching today for a little bit. They had Hezekiah Walker on....that rich kid can sing....but it just didn't have that anointing I'm used to. Maybe it wa the fact that his back up singers didn't just sing but they had to do the pointing and stuff...that always bugs me.

Anyways they had q-tip on....er....Munsy...and I could not believe my ears....well maybe I could.

He quoted Paul saying that WE believes calleth those things that be not, as though they were. No joke....yes Paul, according to q-tip, said WE believes call those things that be not, as though they were. We have the power to speak life and death....sad

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

What's sad is that some of our folks believe that stuff.

No I'm not . . . I think Benny Hinn is more than a little off. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some people who have been healed at his conferences simply because of their personal faith in God.

Reminds me, an elder lady in my church regularly sends him offerings. *sigh* She loves Benny Hinn, no matter what people try to tell her.
