We have a new family that has been coming faithful for about a month. Moved here with only the clothes on their back.
Both husband and wife got baptized 2 weeks ago.
My pastor was preaching about the "Incrediable Holy Ghost" yesterday morning, the man went to the altar and within a few min. he was speaking in tongues. Like you, I felt that he was surprised that God would give him the Holy Ghost. He didn't know what to do with himself.
God is so good! He is no respector of person, doesn't matter where we have come from.
