This proves how dangerous it is to make comments about a movie you've never seen . . . you start equating said movie you've never seen with the Holocaust to begin with; then equate it to the Biblical account of the flood, which it's not (you'd know that if you saw even the previews); and finally now you talk about a Gene Wilder movie you saw that's made you uncomfortable with religious comedies . . . this is no Gene Wilder movie.
CR... I respective agree to disagree with you here...You've done what you've wanted to do as shall I... just stating an opinion here... as you...

Concerning the movie as you've stated... A man who is God tells a man to build an ark... and then animals show up two by two... yeah tha's got nothing to do with the scriptures.. it's original thought.. tell me another fairy tale...

The problem, though, is that your opinion is based on faulty assumptions because you've never seen the movie. You're welcomed to an opinion, but it's been rather uninformed and incorrect on this movie.

The movie doesn't have anything to do with the original story of Noah or the Ark. It doesn't. Watch the movie and then tell me it does.

Yes it takes elements from the Bible.
Yes there's a small, contained flood.
Yes there are animals in the ark.

That's the extent of the likeness between the movie's script and the Biblical account.
