Propaganda by TF Teney
Respected UPC leader T.F. Tenney, 63, a denominational superintendent in Louisiana, insists Oneness doctrine does not contradict the Bible.
"You can't call us 'Jesus only,' as some have. We do not deny the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit," Tenney told Charisma. "We believe Jesus Christ is wholly, fully, absolutely and completely God. But no one is going to put us in the position of saying there are three Gods."
See this really undermines our view and it is an insult to Trinitarians. So I have to deduce something here
A) TF Tenney is an ignorant man. I know this is not true. So it is not A
B) TF Tenney does not understand what Trinitarians believe. I know this is not true. He is well learned in this area… So I cannot choose B
C) TF Tenney saw the opportunity to dig, and insult the Trinitarian view and he seized it
I am forced to choose “C”

Are those two sentences all that Tenney said? Did you ever consider these may have been taken out of context? And then you take two sentences and come up with three conclusions. Tenney is either ignorant, doesn't underdstand what a Trinitarian believes, and he is desparate to insult Trintitarians in any way possible so as to alienate them and not try to win them to his view. You must think Tenney is a very stupid man as well.

That's what I was thinking . . . especially if written by J. Lee Grady.

on the contrary I said he was a respected man, whom I believe to be intelligent. However I think he took the opportunity to degrade trinitarians...
if you can prove the text is out of context... go for it... either way it was said
If I said Mizpeh is so stupid, but has a nice family... its sort of out of context... yet retains the insult(I would never say that by the way)
In regards to not degrading the oneness doctrine... when did I degrade it?

I didn't take that statement to be degrading at all. He was simply stating the Oneness position.
There are distinctions in doctrine between different denominations and to clearly state those disinctions, as long as it is done in a civil and honest manner, is not degrading.
