Hillsong United will be at Olsteen's on Sunday June 15 in the evening ... a free concert!!! I will see Vicki in the morning at Grace[hope she sings my song!!!].... pig out at the Chinese buffet ... then shoot over to JO's for the freebie ... and good vertical worship
Let me speak some truth into this thread.

Hillsong understands real worship. There is a segment of Christianity that is wholly in love with Jesus. They couldn't care less about power and position. The only position they want is a close proximity to Jesus.

I wonder if they have something Oneness Apostolics don't have? It worries me. I fear the charges of "cult" are finding more and more merit everyday. We have missed the point of Christianity entirely. It is about relationship - not rules, love - not religion.

Anything that focuses on self more than Jesus is idolatry. Anything that focuses on experience more than relationship is idolatry. Anything that fears man more than God is idolatry.

Don't forget bowing down to 190-foot-tall stone monoliths. That qualifies too!

Another Amen ... another favorite of mine is Jesus Adrian Romero ... a Spanish song writer extraordinaire whose vertical worship songs are timeless. and awe-inspiring.

One of my favorite is Tengo Hambre de Ti - I Hunger for You.

Click on play to hear it.

[YT="Jesus Adrian Romero"]eiBM64MhhIU[/YT]

Lyrics:

Por un momento en Tu precencia
[For a moment in Your Presence]
Por un instante de Tu amor
[For an instant in Your Love]
Por un destello de Tu gloria
[For a flash of Your Glory]
Por un minuto nada mas
[For just a minute, no more]

Todo daria, no importaria
[I would give everything, nothing matters]
lo que tenga que pasar
[No matter what I would need to go through]
lo que tenga que esperar...
[What I would wait for ...]

Tengo hambre de Ti
[I hunger for You]
de Tu presencia
[for Your presence]
de Tu fragancia
[for Your fragrance]
de Tu poder
[for Your power]

Hambre que duele
[Hunger that hurts]
Que debilita
[that weakens]
Que desespera
[that makes me desperate]
Por Ti, Señor Jesus
[for You, Lord Jesus]
Tengo hambre de Ti.

AMEN. A beautiful sound being offered unto our Lord.
What a genuine motive to seek the presence of God; established in a hunger that is clothed in humility. God's word assures us that he will meet anyone who seeks him with such a heart.

Worship. A bondservant established in the love for the master who first loved us.
