It truly was and is a great classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a message the man was a prophet. I stopped by to see the pastor who pastors that church on my trip a childhood friend. Elder Bean's prophecy came to pass.

We have Bro. Bean's cassettes on Prayer and Gifts of the Holy Ghost....The sound quality is very poor, but I think I have listened to all of them over the years. We know people who knew him but we never met him.

Bro. Epley,
It's been a while since I read the book.
What was the prophecy? Was it about mixed bathing at youth camp and dancing in the church basement? or am I confused with something else? I think I remember those words from a Verbal Bean sermon but I don't remember where from or what book. I've read three of his books.

By the way, is that still a functioning church, and, if so, what organization, and how is it doing?

That was the prophecy and it happened to the T. The church has split several times. It is still in existance I really do not think they have all that many. They are Charismatic in every way. Doctrine means zip I doubt if they would make an issue over Jesus Name baptism. The present pastor is a childhood friend of mine.

Actually the old church building where Elder Bean preached his "Scummy Pot" message is still there, I think that it's owned by some kind of black charismatic group, but you would be hard pressed to find the "church" that existed back then.

The man that took the church after the pastor that Elder Bean was preaching for built a new building, but he went totally bonkers and the congregation blew to pieces.
