This is the first really wise thing I think you've written.
I've read VB's books. There was a story in the
Works of the Holy Ghost book of a church which had revival despite some members trying to get rid of the pastor with the encouragement of a brother who was outside of that church body. VB's approach with this church was very different from his approach in Laurel. Eventually those rebellious members all left the church but the instigator came to repentance and the church grew.
It seems there can be different ways of dealing with the same issue. Directly preaching against it or getting on with the work of God while letting God do the sorting out and the weeding without speaking hardly a rebuke.
