Brother, I ran with people that would make what you call being conservative a joke for several years. No tv, no internet, no pagan holidays, no one allowed in the pulpit who had ever been married twice (including prior to conversion), no fellowshipping with churches that didn't believe the same, the list goes on an on.

Y'all are the ones so into rulemaking. Just thought I'd point out that I know people with even more rules than you.

I am on the internet. Other than that, you do not know if I ascribe to the others on your short list.
You are lumping me as I lumped many here. Maybe you will get a pass. I was called for it.

I don't care one way or the other whether you ascribe to rest of my short list or not. The point is there are others more conservative than you are, which makes you a liberal in their eyes and lost as a goose in a snowstorm. They would tell you to pray through over being on the internet and that it will drag you to hell. How about neckties? Do you believe in wearing neckties?

BTW, Deseret, how would you feel if one of them decided to tell you you needed to pray back through because of being on the internet? I am interested in your response.

Maybe we should be happy someone cares enough to want us to pray through whether we need it or not......

I would take it with a grain of salt.

Whether one wears a neck tie or not has absolutely nothing to do with whether one is or is not a conservative.

I thought REAL conservatives called a necktie "a cloth necklace" and condemned it as jewelry. There is no real purpose to a necktie. It is strictly ornamentation.
It would be like wearing cuff links or it would be like a woman wearing an ornamental scarf or a ribbon in her hair.
