Lets look at the administration team and see who is who.
St Matthew - I am mod to con
Boom - con
Prax - mod
Renda - lib
Esther - mod to con
Jeanie - mod to lib (her husband is a Corinthian )
Lisa - mod
Man of Word - lib
Malvaro - con
Tina - mod
The Mrs - mod to lib
So given our staff here, we are pretty balanced in the admin area. I find no "imbalance". What you folks don't realize is that ALL actions are reviewed by all the Admin that are available, so we have a balanced viewpoint.[quote]

I hate the whole "secret, super-powerful, anonymous admin" thing.
The Dean needs to reveal his true identity, or post under his common username. His name makes him seem as though he is the post powerful owner/admin on the board.
The Dean is under no obligation to do so though....

I think some posters are upset how Dan was treated (see Ronzo's blog thread) and now MOW leaves because he feels there is censorship going on...and GC is around the corner....so things are amusingly spicy right now. oloroid
RE Dan and his latest fiasco.....not the smartest thing he ever posted, was it?
I think he was testing the waters, and found that he can still get banned!
Reminds me of my almost 14 yr old daughter who, about every six months for the past almost 13 years, tries on her 'big girl' panties and decides to see how much she can get away with before being punished.
She finds out real quick and calms down for about another 6 months....LOL!

I can't speak for everyone here. But I want to tell you that what I am taking away most from this discussion is a much greater appreciation for all that the admin has to do to keep thisthing afloat. I've always known that it couldn't be an easy job. But hadn't really considered the thought that because of the individual stances of each person in the admin, that that could also be a completely different source of friction (not the word I want, but the only one I can think of right now). So basically, while we are all out here battling it out over some issue, the folks in admin not only have to read and know where they stand personally on the issue, but they also have to be able to, in an unbiased way, make sure that things do not get out of control.
I think you all have done a pretty doggone good job. Not perfect. But no one is perfect. But pretty great!!!
Margie3, what I have gleaned from the discussions lately is that there is some suffering on both sides of the fence. It pains and annoys the cons when the libs don't straighten up and the libs are pained when the cons think they are lost. This is just a little microcosm of the church world. Think about what it would be like if a PASTOR had to referee a church with libs, mods, and cons, all together. ..........Typically birds of a feather flock together in church.....and here we have cardinals, eagles, bluebirds, and every now and then a vulture. Go figure...................JUST KIDDING, GUYS!!!

being that you are in the boat with me, I suppose you need to go beg your pastor to forgiv...wait, you are the pastor! LOL! I guess building a church isnt being involved enough.
