What's it like "being old"?

I thought that this thread would eventually go away but it appears to just keep hanging around. So, I decided to open it. Though I have not read this thread except the first post that is inquiring what it is like to being old, as the title also asks, I am sorry that I cannot contribute anything to the understanding of the subject.
