Find out why the Orthodox Jews don't follow this law, and you may have your answer.
The law was given to provide a greater picture, a system of principles, and insight into the nature and heart of God, that was not obliterated by the cross when the tedious rules and regulations were.
In this instance, we may look at this former requirement and see that God is adamantly against disobedient and lazy children, and we should look seriously into the business of training children to be obedient, truthful, industrious, and loving.

Amazing Mr. P how I just realized something. I went back to the original post and noticed one little detail. Would you like to tell the boys and girls what that one little thing was?

Brother P, let me help you out, I defined what I meant by my original post with my latter post. Brother, can I put you on record that you believe and teach that Peter was a 100% full of faith and a top flight prayer warrior prior to Pentecost? I await your reply.

You posted that I didn't believe Peter had any faith what so ever. I explain that Peter had some major problems and those problems caused him to deny Christ. The problems were that Peter was weak willed and prone to temptation as so were some others in the group of Christ's followers. Peter was also impulsive. I explained everything with scripture. It's your job to show me were I was wrong or move on to the main issue of this thread.

When do you specifically prove any of the above to me? the above is NOT a refutation, it's just an accusation. Prove me wrong or move to the main issue of the thread.

Praxaes you are fawning over a victory that's not yours. What you need to do is explain what you are saying about Peter using chapter and verse.
You believe Peter was a spiritual giant prior to Pentecost, then please explain how?

Notice how I explained this to Praxeas in another post ( http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com...&postcount=287 ), but Praxeas really isn't concerned with having a discussion and getting to the truth. Praxeas, do you know any Muslims?

However, I've been up all night long with a preacher friend who broke down in Houston. He called me last night and I had to drive to Houston and pick up him and his family.
Now, I must prepare for another ex-preacher that is coming to spend most of the day with me. I have had a burden for this man for some time. He is a good man and I want to spend some quality time with him.
So, if I do not get back to this subject this weekend, please remind me later on. I look forward to addressing it.
But remember this, God sets up nations. They are ordained of God as rulers. This is according to divine order. God rules in the affairs of men, so ol' king Neb. come to learn after seven years passed over him while feeding like an ox in a state of insanity. When his mind returned to him after seven years had passed over him, he exclaimed that he knew for sure that God ruled in the affairs of men. He sets up kingdoms and he puts them down, often at the edge of the sword. It is remarkable how God has his own way by means of bloodshed in the judgment of nations.
Meanwhile, back to the subject of charity later....

Thank you Elder Strange and may the Lord bless your fellowship with the Brothers.
I pray that all turns out well as you spend time with those men in fellowship.
Please pray for my family and I we had a major mishap.
You are always in our prayers.

Can you love your enemy (thief, robber, murderer) and shoot him dead for defending you home, all the while knowing he is going to hell. Should you not at least take him through the sinners prayer before pulling the trigger??

Shoot, then pray to raise them from the dead.....and if it's God's will they will live again......Didn't Jesus put the ear back on the servant of the High Priest?

Dear Brother Matthew, that may work for a Baptist, but we being Apostolic Pentecostals would have to pray him through to tongues and then baptize him in Jesus name for the remission of sins. My question is this, when do we give him the "Search for Truth" Bible study? How does one hold a gun on someone while flipping those big pages of the chart?

OP Carl, I never asked this because I needed the answer. I even said that in my original post. I asked this because of what Brother Strange said concerning God's OT ways not being different today. You are WAY out of sync in this discussion.
