EB,
I'm 49.

As of Friday.

I have had a permit to carry since I was 21, and brutally beaten by a gang of 20-30 people. Got it the next day, have had it ever since. Keep one in my vehicle.

I trust in God, and the wisdom He gave me.

Happy birthday to you. I used weapons illegally until I was filled with the Holy Ghost. I have scars all over my body from knife wounds, and a bullet wound right under my kneecap. I have scars in the back of my head from ball bats, and glass bottles, ball peen hammer. I was getting beatings since I could remember, my stepmother tried to burn my hands off on a stove, kicked me down a flight of stairs, and would come into my bedroom at night and hold a knife to my throat at the age of eight years old. When I was a teenager I was driving a Plymouth Satellite when it was shot at by a bunch of individuals with shotguns in another car, my buddy lost control of the car and it flipped over on the side of the road. I dragged him out and got him and I out of there. I'm sorry for what had happened to you and I want you to know and understand that Jesus can take care of us. Even while I was a sinner Jesus always came through and pulled me out. I'm still alive, and I will never use gun ever again.

Please forgive me Brother I mean no disrespect to you or anyone else here.
What you believe is what you believe; I just don't see in the Bible where the use of deadly force is allowed.

Lord bless you and praise Jesus for your 49th birthday.

Under the circumstances of protecting family or the innocent from harm, I just don't see where it is forbidden, nor any sort of force. It's not addressed. Retribution is addressed. Murder is address, but self defense or protecting others is not.
