Me too, Jeanie. That's what I think is terribly sad about it. They don't cite adultry or anything like that, so why can't they slow themselves down to save their marriage? it should be about putting family first-

although I can not thoroughly speak for these folks why their marriage disintegrated although it does seem that ministry has gotten in the way some how.

It seems like we are all pretty much on the same page here. It really bothers me that what begain as ministries end up being about the celebrity or the person who says it's "My ministry"...it's scary and bothersome. I think this is the result of allowing the world to affect the church and a somewhat erroneous church model of government. The really scary thing is, when you become big, you don't have to worry about a church government. You can break free and be independent and still be larger than life, rich and powerful.

All too often, success, as the world views it, causes some to think that it's their Kingdom instead of God's Kingdom.......

Right...apparently this was not new. Many kings were blinded by powerlust and it went to their head. Even David was overcome for a while.
