LOL - DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I make a motion that we do NOT USE the word ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want Elder Epley to tell us the TRUTH about this - Can we use the word ONLY and it be LEGAL??? Somebody told me that some of the old-timers actually said - "In the name of Jesus Only". Is that LEGAL?????????? Wouldn't that make a person "JESUS ONLY"?

Now Elder - Do you use the word ONLY when you are practice FULL IMMERSION BAPTISM in running water in white long sleeves down by the creek bank????
I heard it was not legal if it was NOT running water? Does leaving the water running in the plastic baptistry count? Would a person be LEGAL if they pulled the plug and ran water out the faucet at the same time??????

I JUST WANNA BE SAVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In my over 40 years of being in the church I have only met 2 preachers who said Jesus only. And both were nuts.
Now back to the meat of the discussion.
This is Brother Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen Thompson from Paragould, Ark. and yea I say unto thee send me I mean my servant that $20 offering you have hid in that secret place. This is EEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEE Duncan from H O U S E springs, MO. I am the one the Divine Healers call for prayer when they are sick.

I think Glen Thompson was the guy that I couldn't remember his first name.

Was he the one that "got so close to God" that he "didn't need his wife anymore" so he sent her away? And then soon afterward married his secretary because she was pregnant?

Leroy Jenkins belives in Jesus Name Baptism. His words to me were " It's the ONLY way."

In the autobiographical file of Jenkins, it shows him baptizing a few people.

He produced a movie about his life a few years ago. Found it at Blockbuster and rented it. I thought it was a good movie. In one of the clips, he was baptizing prisoners in a lake in the name of Jesus. You better believe that caught my attention.

As a boy in Memphis - I looked forward to hearing four great preachers on the radio. Bishop J. O. Patterson would come on ringing a dinner bell - Its Supper Time! He felt it his duty to rebuke (daily) his young nephew Gilbert for calling himself an APOSTLE and then Apostle Gilbert E. Patterson would come on with The BOUNTIFUL BLESSING BROADCAST with Incredible preaching and prove his uncle wrong - he just about emptied out his Uncles church - three blocks away! LOL
It is sad that both of them have gone on to their reward - I had great admiration for both of them - but I did go with G. E. and I did love him so - I miss my Pastor - my Bishop.

Then Evangelist R. W. Shambach would come on with the VOICE OF POWER! It was the very best of the very best. Lord, You could see yourself in the tent with him screaming at the top of his lungs and building your faith!

Then the smoooooothest preacher on radio - cool, calm and collected - smooth as silk - - - - Hooooooooooooooooold The Light - (sing it girls) Let it shine for Je eee e sus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is Paaaaaaaaaaaaastor Epley - E-P-L-E-Y from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I want to hold your special prayer request in my hand............... Oh how I loved to hear Pastor David Epley!
As a young teen - I LOVED these preachers - they were my hero's! I had the privilege of preaching for Bishop G. E. Patterson several times in conventions and at Temple of Deliverance - and if you look real good - on some of the tapes that are on TV now - I am on several of them.

I had the privilege of preaching several times for Pastor David Epley in Miami and he was always so very, very kind to me.

I have stood on the platform of the Shambach Revival Tents and testified many times of being healed under Brother Shambachs ministry when I was 16. I have had lunch and dinner with him and he is one of the nicest people (Sister Schambach has always been so precious too) you will ever meet. He will tell you in a heart beat - I AM TRINITY FROM THE TOP OF MY HEAD TO THE SOLES OF MY FEET - If you won't put me in hell for believing in Three - I won't put you there for being Jesus Only! We sat down one time to eat and he said - Let me pray - and then proceed with the blessing - ending with - Bless mine in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and bless Wayne's in JESUS NAME!!!!!!!!!!

I laugh about it and love them anyway - but I do really work at being a POSITIVE APOSTOLIC INFLUENCE on many of these that God has blessed me to meet and minister with.

I remember in the early 70's gathering around the radio to listen to Shambach and Terrell. I will forever remember one particular broadcast of Shambachs. My brother and I would copy his voice and to this day, if I was to start it, my brother would finish it . "When your in trouble and you need an uplifting.........Help is on the way!"

I have been to more tent meetings than I can remember. I have watched the blind see, the deaf hear, the dumb speak, and all kinds of notable miracles. Demons were cast out. Many received the Holy Ghost, and many were baptized in Jesus Name. David Terrell had a profound effect upon my life as a youth of 11 years old when he called all of us kids to the platform while he prayed for a man that had one leg shorter than the other. I watched with my own eyes as the leg grew. We knew the man, and knew it was a miracle indeed that had taken place.

While I do not agree with their current doctrine, these men were able to generate such a great faith in a building that would allow the devil to be healed of disease, if that were possible.
