If Dan was to be permanently banned, then Jubilee would not have been announced after his recent ban.

About 1 month before Dad died, I called him at around midnight Eastern time from Portland, Oregon. I was weeping and asked him to forgive me if I had ever ashamed him ...

Dad's tone quickly turned stern and said, "Don't you ever say that again. I am so proud of the man you've become."

I am so proud of Pops.

My dad went to be with the Lord January 26, 2004. It seems like so long ago and yet it seems like yesterday. He was an awesome man who served and loved a great God.

I love to see your admiration for your dad -- I am the same way about mine.

Dan Just Being Dan

Darcie, you keep loving that brother. I have seven of them and love them

dearly. The Father (God) gave them to me. He knew I would love them.

I've heard that blood is thicker than water and it has been said that family

represents blood and others represents water. That when it comes down

to the nitty gritty, family will stick together regardless. Think about that

a little. Yes, families should be close and many times are (I know), but not

to the exclusion of others. We cannot live without water! We need both,

blood (family) and water (others). Out of Jesus' side flowed both blood and

water. John 19: 34. also read I John 5: 6-8. There is agreement in heaven,

and there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, the water and

the blood: and these three agree in one. John, chapter 17, Jesus prayed to

the Father that the disciples might be one as he and the Father were one.

God in Christ and Christ in them and they in Christ. One with Son. He who

hath the Son has the Father also.

Just some thoughts from a senior sister,

Blessings,

Falla39

Just a few words...on one of the kindest men I've ever known...Manuel Alicea. He was a preacher, a teacher, and an example of to those around him of a sincere and powerful Apostolic lifestyle. It is my honor to have counted him among my very closest ministerial friends and brethren. He's demeanor was kind and quiet, but he demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ in the strongest way possible...through the life he lived.

Every time we had the opportunity to talk, it was often long distance, but each time he encouraged me in the Lord with he insight into the Word and his love for God's kingdom.

He served his family, his church and his brethren with a consistency and confidence that will not be easily duplicated. I miss him every day...

If Dan has just a fraction of his love for truth and the Word, then he will be well served...

Dan, I'm glad we got to see this glimpse of who you are. You are indeed a very special son.

And Darcie, thank you for pointing this out to us.
