Darcie, you keep loving that brother. I have seven of them and love them
dearly. The Father (God) gave them to me. He knew I would love them.
I've heard that blood is thicker than water and it has been said that family
represents blood and others represents water. That when it comes down
to the nitty gritty, family will stick together regardless. Think about that
a little. Yes, families should be close and many times are (I know), but not
to the exclusion of others. We cannot live without water! We need both,
blood (family) and water (others). Out of Jesus' side flowed both blood and
water.
John 19: 34. also read
I John 5: 6-8. There is agreement in heaven,
and there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, the water and
the blood: and these three agree in one. John, chapter 17, Jesus prayed to
the Father that the disciples might be one as he and the Father were one.
God in Christ and Christ in them and they in Christ. One with Son. He who
hath the Son has the Father also.
Just some thoughts from a senior sister,
Blessings,
