well that went over like a lead baloon. Brother Howard then asked this young man, if he had a TV.

The evangelist told him "yes ive got a 32 inch TV right now but we just bought a house and I am looking to get a 60 inch for my living room"
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL! I just about died when i heard that one. BTW, the revival was not extended.

I don't doubt that you heard it, but whoever told it needs to check their sources -- or quit making up stories (whichever may be the case).

Someone evidently lied to you when they told this story on Brother Gary Howard. He has said unequivacally that no such event ever occurred. In fact, nothing even close has ever happened.

I appologize for being inaccurate.

The story as I meant it, was not one on brother Howard but on the evangelist who made a terrible mistake in judgement. I have great respect for Brother Howard and would never try to make him look bad in any way.

I certainly didn't take it as an indictment against Brother Howard. I just think the evangelist has a bigger problem than poor judgment.

Of course, I'm an ultra-con. What do you expect?
