Oh really? I guess anyone can come up with whatever they please to try to prove their agendas. Sorry, I think I would go with the term evangelists working at a college, before swallowing the campus pastor analogy you came up with. Anyway can you show me where in the first or second century where they have "pastors" accompanying the Roman armies? Sounds interesting, but didn't that all come to be with Roman Catholicism and the 1st, 2nd, and last crusades?

Ordinations of elders through out the college campus? I could see evangelistic teams working within the schools, and around a college town, but still don't understand how you can place Paul's instruction to Titus to set up elders through out his city and evangelizing a school. Those who are witnessed to and brought to conversion should be instructed to join with a congregation and be taught by the ministry there, don't you agree?

Interesting, therefore it would be a wise decision for a woman to want to push back the Krispy Kreme.

You know E.B. this the the second attempt that I have made to reach out to you as a friend. I'm glad that you are so rich in friends that you can throw human beings around like used tissue. I refuse to believe that a man of your station cannot simply read what I wrote and understand the very basic things that I said.
I hope that you get some help. Sit down with your doctor and take some time to really talk about the problems you've been having. Be open and candid about your diet and personal consumptions. Check your blood sugar.
Try to describe for your doctor, in detail the way your mind works and how you perceive the world around you. Print out some of your online exchanges and explain to the doctor what it is that you were trying to say. An experienced doctor will be able to help you through this and get you back on your feet again. I'm afraid that I'm not a doctor and in an online conversation I can't really tell if you're kidding, or if you need help. Your own doctor will know.

I want to add my
I have only known Sherri and Eddie a very short while. But from what I can see, and what I've heard they are obviously doing something right. They are seeing awesome growth WORLD wide.
Sherri who cares if you you him "campus pastor" some other churches have pastors for every department in their church, like Sis Alvear said.
You all should stop trying to disect the idea of "campus pastor" and rejoice with those who rejoice. Let's be glad for the revival they are having.

Really I was at a loss to understand why you felt to present a history lesson when all you needed to do was explain the term as Sister Sherri did.
I thought what you presented was not pertaining to the discussion, so I wanted you to explain further. You took offence, and you retaliated. No problem. You will wake up and go to work tomorrow, and so will I. You will also not think about our discussion during the day so the affect to your life will be minimum. I will no longer post to you, feel better?

Are you feeling better? Did the above make everything allright?

Now you're ranting, so shouldn't it be you who should seek a sedative?

Here's the point where you're rambling and you are now taking it personal.
Do you get angry at computer screens a lot? Do your co-workers stair at you when you bite your lip as you type? Think maybe it's time to push back the key board and take it easy? Listen Pelathais, I won't post to you anymore, go in peace and may the force be with you.

No hard feelings, Bro. We seem to always be talking past each other, never really connecting. Maybe some day we'll collide. Until then keep doing the deep cleansing breathes or whatever you need to do to chill. I think it's working!

Bro. EB--
Campus pastors have nothing to do with college/school campuses. It's just a newer term used for someone pastoring a church extension. Just because it's not a term in the Bible doesn't mean it's not valid.
News flash - the word "oneness" is not in the Bible either.:sshhh

Sister Sherri I'm sorry, I didn't know it was something new?
I don't use the term Oneness because for me it means a group of things that are unified. I use the term One GOD.
Pastoring a church extention, please explain this concept.
