The Persecution of Women in the Church

Seriously though - I have spent five years in university. I have a degree. I have received a few negative comments but that's the exception - Over the past five years, I have received FAR more encouragement and support from men and women alike.

I used to say I was a feminist because I argued that if feminism just advocated equality in terms of pay and what not and equality, I was one. But in the secular world, feminism means so much more. Feminism completely steps across that line and attempts to chip away at the foundation of God's order. Hence, I'm not a feminist - I don't want to be defined by that term. I'm a target but then again, who isn't? In all honesty, I'd rather be a target than not - if I am targeted, then I'm a threat. I can deal with that.

Then wouldn't you agree if feminism masquerades as equlity yet chips away at biblical foundations, Satan would be behind it and targetting women?

You are a threat! that's why God placed you under the headship of mankind. You are to be protected and loved because all life comes from you.

What Satan has and is attempting to do is bypass the headship and go directly to the women. He did this in the Garden, he bypassed Adam and went directly to Eve because she was the weaker vessel and he could access her.

The first sin of Adam was that he did not cover his wife in temptation and watched a "crime in progress" against her and finally participated in the rebellion againg God.

God chastised the Priest Eli for watching sin and doing nothing about it.

I Samuel 3:1 For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

A Godly man will cover and protect women; in the home, church, job, etc.

If a pastor is abusing women in the church, it is the husbands responsibility to stop it and remove her from that situation.

According to Paul. Does that mean woman is lesser? NO! It means she has a different role and her submission in Divine order is to man wherein it makes her under the authority of the Godhead.
I think much of the turmoil in today's society is caused by the feminist movement that has taken away the sacredness of womanhood. The honor woman had naturally has been reduced if not taken away. Every time I hear screaming Hillary I wish for the old days. The wonderful demeanor that served women through the centuries has been stolen by pushing-beligerent-in your face women. The 'meek and quiet' spirit which in the sight of God is a great price has been replaced by the 'rude-loud-arrogant' who needs a man attitude that has reduced home of nuturing to home out of order. Child crime is at an all time high-abortion used for birth control-homosexuals coming out our ears-and it is 'all about me' mindset. Now husbands and wives are trying to find themselves? Needing their space syndrom. Weak spineless men who are metro-sexuals. The church needs to be speaking with a clear and sound voice for men to be men and women to be women.

Yep, here we go again. Satan is overlooking the man because the man is a puny worthless creation of God. All he cares about is the woman.

Things must be different in Canada. Although I will say the time I am speaking about being trashed from the pulpit for getting an education was back in the mid '90's. Things have began to change somewhat now. My children and I used to laugh and count the times it was mentioned in service that God didn't use educated people and you didn't have to have a degree to do something for God. It got old after a while. Back then I didn't realize I still had an option to change churches and even denominations. I kept my kids in UPCI up until my daughter married. Then I went to AOG and my kids went to ALJC.
