Tertullians comments so reek of homosexuality. He simply hated women and blamed them for mans fall.Sadly Adam did not stand up to his sin. That is what caused him the most trouble. He did not stand behind his choice nor
interceed on her behalf but played the blame game.Sad.
Jesus however the second Adam not only stood up for us on the cross but took
our blame upon himself. He is the ultimate man.The perfact man.Jesus is not
a responsibility dodger.

Good response, if he was homo; it may account for his remarks.

Tertullian was a Montanist and as such they shunned all sexual relationships. They were in essence the first monks...it's interesting that this later became a stable for the RCC priesthood...
Of course Im only guessing since I don't possess much spiritual insight :-)
Although I have been known to spot a Devils Advocate from time to time

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

That's exactly what I thought too! Has to be some kind of deepseated twistedness/perversion for men to think that way about women.

See my post on him. He was a montanist. He might have seen them as evil like Muslims do lol, but that does not make them gay. Being gay does not mean hating women. He might have been twisted in his mind but that does not make him a homo

Whatever. He was twisted and perverted even if he wasn't gay.
