I'm not commenting on the validity of the "gold dust" experience since there are some who believe in it and some who don't.

However, I do have a couple ofquestions.
Has this stuff been analyzed professionally as to chemical conten?
and
Can it be redeemed for cash?

That's always been my question. If it really did appear, how do they know it was gold and not just something gold colored?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I remember reading some "exposé" about the Toronto Blessing stuff a few years ago. There were reports of tooth fillings turning to gold and gold dust appearing on the faces of people in the church.

This link goes to a Baptist site which describes how the gold dust turned out to be your standard gold glittler.

This sort of thing appears to be related to attempts to decieve people.

I was in a church service in Toranto, and there was Gold Dust, Feathers, Jewels, and Manna from Heaven. A friend of mine gathered the gold dust, and Jewels and took them to be annilized and what he found out, that the Gold dust wasn't gold at all it was worthless kind of like fools gold, and the jewels weren't jewels at all they were made of cheap glass with no value. Personally I believe these to be false manifistations to distract God's people, and to cause them to believe the deception from satan. Those manifastations are so counterfeit. If they really were a blessing from the Lord, wouldn't the gold dust and jewels be real so people coulld gather them and get out of debt and also help those in great financial need? Something is manifesting in the church and it is a false conterfeit spirit trying to pass off as a genuine move of God. All I know there isn't one testimony in the old or new testament of the Bible showing these kinds of manifestations. We must be led by the spirit and walk in the spirt. The question is why is no leadership questioning these things, they just go with the flow and think it is a move of God, when there is no proof of that. God isn't fake or a cheap counterfeit like the gold dust and the fake jewels. Joe
