It did not have to take time to ferment...he turned into wine NOT grapejuice.

The guests were allready well drunk when it was served.

Please Easty go read Deut 14:26 and then tell me that God commanded Israel to never partake of anything fermented.

He told them to in fact buy meat and wine and other fermented drink and to eat befor the Lord ad to rejoice,

I'm not saying that some of the wine in the bible didn't have alcohol in it, I'm trying to find out if ALL wine ever mentioned in the bible had wine in it. Try not to read into anything that I'm saying. Some people will try and justify drinking wine because Jesus turned h2o into wine.

Sounded that way to me..that's the typical response from evangelicals that want to prove" the bible condemns all use of alcohol.

I do not condone or promote getting drunk. but i do not condone or promote saying the bible says something it does not say.

You don't have to twist the scripture to preach against drunkeness. That is clear as the fact that there was alcohol in use amongst Isreal and it was condoned and blessed by their God.

It sounded that way to you because of a question I was asking Dan to clarify something. If people wouldn't turn the conversation, you nor anyone else would've misrepresented what I was trying to find out.

There are a lot of "typical" responses on this thread.
