Nope...

Sweet lady. Never did anybody wrong at all. I would go somewhere to hear her speak today just for old times sake if for no other reason.

I served as sunday school teacher, youth pastor etc under her. I love her to death.

It was what I grew up with and it was all I knew so I wasn't uncomfortable with it.

But the whole thing just doesn't feel right to me anymore. It isn't something I could do on a regular basis.

I can't even explain why. It just isn't "my thang" I guess.

It isn't a situation I could feel comfortable to be in anymore.

I disagree.

The Great Commission is for us all to follow. We are all commanded to go into all the world and preach to ever creature and baptize them.

God will not accept excuses for not obeying His commandments.
Elder Epley said it was only addressed to the 11 male apostles .... hence?????????????????

For more than one reason I suppose.

Yes ma'am. I would expect that from you. That is just the caliber of lady you are.

And... please do know that I fully understand that my thoughts are just that... my own personal thoughts and opinions.

Sister Alvear.... If I ever had the chance to be near a place where you were speaking I would travel to hear you. I have a lot of respect for you.

You never know... you might be the one that could chance the way I feel.

And please note also... I never said I did or did not believe in anything. I just said that I wouldn't really want to be under a woman pastor again. And even that is for reasons I cannot explain. It is just me.

Who changed the title of this thread and why? I find "heck", being a slang word, to be more offensive than "hell" used in context.

A post, whether I agree or disagree, written with honesty and a Christ-like spirit is to be respected. Your post is one deserving of respect.
