China is deceptively strong and tough. We use a nice china everyday. It takes heat, goes into hot water, etc. China is much stronger than most people realize.
So are daughters.
That said, my girls say that when they meet the man they want to marry, they are going to tell him to go away. Because they love him. And they don't want to put him through what he is getting ready to go through from our family.
It's not because they aren't strong. They can shoot as well as any man - at a distance. Tried, tested and proven. They have a great humor. They are smart. They are sharp cookies. Not much gets by them.
But, they are our daughters. So, we all pity the men who come calling. It's a family joke.
With our boy, well, we want him to find a good wife. Next week would be good.
