I thought Ventura was a city in California not a bunch of churches in the UPC.

it is a city in calif.thats just his title for us since we had a camp there

Ventura is indeed a city and county seat in CA. it's basically in the northern end of the Los Angeles Area.

Ventura is where the group held their camp meeting this past summer
