I'd rather have drums front and center and a preacher immersed in the Word... than idolize the concept of "having truth". For many it is their GOLDEN CALF.

I think some of these dudes have a lot more issues than having drums raised on a pedestal! If thats the biggest problem in some of our churches we are doing good. We happen to have drums front and center. A very large UC church and we have baptized an average of 1 person and sometimes a lot more every service for almost a year now, just this past service baptized an entire family... building program going on now and if it goes the way it has been by the time we get the parking lot finished (phase1) we will have to make the new sanctuary bigger before it is even built!

I totally agree with you here Dan,, the problems are a lot more than this...
