LOL. Maybe I didn't say that quite right. What I meant is that we receive a lot of things from God. They aren't all the same experience. We receive different things from Him according to the need.

So the Samaritans who had believed on Christ and were water baptized MUST have received the Spirit, even though the scriptures say they didn't??

Nawww........ they didn't receive anything. I mean, they believe on Christ and get water baptized but are still dead in sin and trespass and spiritually unregenerate. Yep.

So reception is not automatic at belief (faith) like the Church of Christ (and some here) teaches?
