Is Aromatherapy Wrong?

"Aromatherapy" is a word that i am seeing more and more of which has even gained prominence as a method of treating various emotional problems, psychological and even physical.

I bought some candles and soaps for someone and when i told someone else about it, they told me that this was wrong simply because it is connected to new age religion and eastern philosphies.

DO you agree and if so why? Didn't the 3 wisemen bring Frankincense and Myrrh to baby Jesus ?

I would imagine that an unstable hypersensitive person could backslide over pretty much anything.

Wrong? Good night, this is like that famous evangelist poereaching against laundry soap because of the skull and crossbones in the warning list.

Oh puhleeeeze.

There are certain smells that release different chemicals and hormones in one's body. There are pheromones that are released from people that we can not smell, but our body can.

Well, I personally have always thought men who were into aromatherapy were probably sissies, but other than that, I don't know that they would be sinful.
