I rather view the forum the same way - I may debate someone who's beliefs I feel are false, or at best, incomplete, and I may say, "Why do I waste my time with these people", but the ones who may benefit the most are the readers.
And, if you banish every person from this forum who desires to debate scripture, you are shutting down multiple opportunities to spread the gospel.

Again brother we are out of context here, the ones we are refering too are not open for debate, they are only open to insulting. There is nothing more I would enjoy more than debating scripture but as has been said here already , the ones we refer to do not debate scripture, they quote scholars and give links to other websites. My point is brother, where do you draw the line? I can spend 12 hours debating with the ones we are refering too and get no where or debating with those who are honestly seeking the truth and win over two or three or a family. I think God wants us to use our common sense to a point. There is just no need in engaging in onesided arguments.

Ok, I see your point, and concerning the folks you mention above, I would agree. I misunderstood the context, and that comes from not reading all the posts in the thread.
However, I would really hate to see us throw out the baby with the bathwater........

I'll be the first to admit I don't know the minute details of the pci view, but what I have some serious questions about the details. If possible, I would appreciate an e-mail from someone with a pci persuasion to make the case, w/scriptural references. I would like to see if some of my personal concerns about the pci view are addressed...
