Liberals like Sharpton and Jesse Jackson condemn them as "oreos" (chocolate on the outside but white on the inside) because they do not espouse the "entitlement" mentality.

I would be in favor of cutting out entitlements except in extreme cases, forcing able bodied men (and women) to get off the couch on the front porch and actually become productive. However, it will never happen. We've turned the keys to the treasury over to them by the power of the ballot. There are no longer leaders worth their salt who can inspire vision prefering to hold on to personal power by pandering to this weakness. Thus, the fiber of our nation is increasingly weakened by this genus of immorality and greed.
