If it's the only Schmitz that I know in Iowa, he would be considered as a conservative by most of us here.

The church he pastors is multicultural. From all I know of him he is a good man in every respect.

Just looked on Iowa website to make sure there was no other Schmitz's

J Scmitz is pretty main stream UPC.

He looks like our own Elder Epley..if Epley'd loose 30 pounds.

I'm in Iowa and have not heard of Keyes being there myself, but then it's not like we have our own Thad reporting the news from the Iowa corn fields.

I hope the church and town of cedar Rapids was richly blessed by the ministry of Bro. Keyes

We had an Iowa state representive host one of Saturday Night Life programs recently.

Our next SNL will be hosted by one of our local TV New Reporters.

Niether of these guest hosts are Pentecostal, but the people that come to our SNL programs at least get to get aquainted with us at our church in a casual setting.

I would be in favor of cutting out entitlements except in extreme cases, forcing able bodied men (and women) to get off the couch on the front porch and actually become productive. However, it will never happen. We've turned the keys to the treasury over to them by the power of the ballot. There are no longer leaders worth their salt who can inspire vision prefering to hold on to personal power by pandering to this weakness. Thus, the fiber of our nation is increasingly weakened by this genus of immorality and greed.
