Excuse me, but I believe the Bible says to "Give honor to whom Honor is due."
Wake up and smell the coffee, brother. You don't have a favorite minister or any personal favorite messages that you have heard?
We ALL "rank" ministers and ministries, all of us do whether we are conscience of it or not. There are some you really like and some that you don't like.....YOU ARE HUMAN!!!!!!

My comments are not about 1 Thess. 5:12-13 and the command to esteem leaders. My comments are about exalting the personality of certain "high profile" ministers by ranking them in order of personal preference.
As to your comment about me having my personal favorites, you would be wrong. My only favorite is Jesus. I am not infatuated by any man's speaking skills, I only care about hearing from God under the anointing. I really don't care who the preacher is or even if they are Apostolic. Personal favorite messages are "stale bread." I need fresh bread every day!
PS- Happy New Year to you too!

Ha Ha!!!!! I needed that, to be at the top of something rather than the bottom.
You many need to pray for me more though, cause I have favorite messages and ministers that have sustained me when things got rough, but I guess I'm the only one who does that!!!!

Jonathan Alvear and if I listened to it once, I listened to it a dozen times... It carried me thru and he is at the top of my list! It's okay to give honor to men of God who pour their hearts into delivering the word of God.

Oh, I guess it's not "real" to love Jesus more than men. I have been preaching for 18 years and pastoring for 7, and I hope people love Jesus way more than me. I guess the whole concept of fresh anointing isn't real either?
By "real" you must mean carnal? Like "oh brother, get carnal."
Just chalk me up as one of those "stupid people" God made. (Oh and you might want to read James 3:9 to see if your signature line meets biblical standards...)

Brother, I probably don't meet any BIBLICAL standards in your eyes, but your opinion isn't really the one that counts.
BTW, I don't mean CARNAL, I mean REAL, HUMAN, FLESH, LIVING IN THE WORLD!!!!
Have a wonderful evening, sir. May the Lord God bless ya real good!!!!

Thanks but I don't want to "live in the world," I have a much higher aspiration than that. Not that I always make it, but I don't want to excuse carnal, non-biblical thinking as "reality" and everything else as idealism.
