Keith,
I remember that sermon. Thanks for reminding me...

That was done because very little adverstising for churches was done in those days.

I think it was a cool idea...

Branham preached his own meetings the name of his church was Branham Tabernacle they called him humble?

I think it is only a problem when you advertise a meeting like this and do not advertise yoursel as one of the speakers.

Give folks the opportunity to decide if they want to hear you.

For AM they keep coming every year...

Again, as was stated before, one of the best - if not the very best - messages preached every year at BOTT is AM's. I think just by tenure (over 20 years) and nature (young preacher oriented) people want AM to preach and keynote the meeting.

You can't hear the man preach and not want to reach for souls. God knows we need more of that in our ranks.

If I can say this without getting banned BOTT is a liberal meeting...some holiness men preached there and took up with them and they are NO longer holiness men...

and yes....
I have heard tapes of BOTT. I have heard some holiness messages preached, BUT if you preach on tv, video, jewelry etal....you are not a regular BOTT speaker
Okay....if bott does not approve of wearing jewelry, read wedding bands, maybe I went overboard calling them liberal

so? do they approve of it or no???

I think this issue just looked odd from a perspective. Some people just have personal thoughts about things.

I read MM's play by play in the other thread and I got convicted and had a prayer mtg. of my own, long after the event was over.

I'm sorry that what you are most concerned about is whether or not someone wears a wedding band.
