That too is my only problem with these forums... People dont seem to realize it does indeed go both ways... and a lot I have seen personally crying and whining about the problems... were indeed the ultimate reason for the problem tobegin with... I know it happens.. yep I have been there done that... but I have also seen it on the other side too...

I think most of us would admit that there are problems on both sides. There is no perfect saint, there is no perfect pastor...however, the Pastor is called to "shepherd" and imho his role is HUGE and he needs to be careful with the sheep.

what i find most appalling is the denial, the pastor is not god almighty, he is a human, subject to being just that human, people make mistakes, they are handled much easier by all that are around if handled honestly and openly, inho, dt

Exactly the difference being I have compassion for the ministry.....and what they have to deal with I have more than one in my family! That does NOT change what happened to me or you or anyone else who was abused.....my hearts desire is for these pious, stiff necked men to see what the pain is really like!

I understand you are hurt and bitter (things like what you all when through would leave a bitter taste in anyones mouth) but shouldnt you pray for them that they see their err and repent and seek restitution not to just wish them ill in return? That last comment is a bit harsh there sis no matter what the happening I do feel... JMHO

Oh yes, please heed this. Sis Truthseeker, your comment, that attitude, leads right to bitterness. Bitterness does far more damage than any abuse could possibly do, it eats you from the inside out.

My last post here on this thread because this subject has been done to death, those that choose to not see what has happened never will because they are so sure of their being right and we that have been hurt are ungreateful and bitter and angry and anything but right.....I am sorry for my previous post because it came out wrong...I wish NO ONE ill....I am just so so so sorry that men of God can not have compassion and at least give consideration to the fact that this is true.....

There are many forms of abuse............and they all leave scars even when you can not see them, and scars on the heart are the very worst!!! this may be my last post on this forum, because I am so tired of running around in circles and beating all the same topics to death....I have many new friends and many new blessing in my life and I just don't need this anymore.....talk about dwelling in the past.....that is what goes on here over and over and over and over......................there are none so blind than those that WILL not see............

I realize that, but I am so very tired for the victims to be blamed, and for the rotten pastors to be defended at all costs.....I realize just now what I said didn't sound correct...what I meant to say was that my hearts desire if for these people to have Compassion and not blame.......
