Am I the only one who's figured out who Alogi is and that this isn't his only name here?

Some have tried to change Alogi's point. He is talking about Oneness Pentecostal Churches NOT the people on this forum. I'm glad most on the AFF do not believe such a Pharisee doctrine.
However far as I know that IS the position of most Oneness Churches. There is getting to be a disconnect over the issue between Pastors and the People. Most Churches hide behind the pitiful "platform standards" cliche on the issue. In other words maybe you can be saved with a beard but you cannot be holy with one.
My own experience with Oneness groups confirms what Alogi is pointing out.

Michael, that isn't true. At least, they don't preach that you'll be lost for having facial hair. There are a lot of churches that have a cleanshaven guideline, but in all my years of growing up in the church, I can't recall a single sermon where the minister said, "Shave or you'll be lost."

The pastor I was raised under taught that men with facial hair would split hell wide open!
Another pastor I had told my husband this his facial hair made him look like a trinitarian. I wish he'd asked the pastor what Jesus looked like with His on!
