Never heard of it.

As my grandmother was slipping from this life to eternal life, she said "I hear them singing" and we asked her who and she said the angels!

I can't believe she was going to sleep.

I agree with you.

Plus folks that have died and come back talk about seeing folks in heaven, if they were asleep, how could they see and talk to them?

To be visited by Angels or the Lord in our presence at death. Does not put us one foot from the other side. The Angels and the Lord are coming to us not us to them...
