What can I do in St. Louis?

Parson and I will be in St. Louis for a few days in March and I'll have some free time alone to shop for antiques, Amish furniture , etc.,and sight see. Does someone have any ideas to share?
We'll be traveling across I 44 if anyone wants to name some good resturants.

St. Charles has a lot of antique shops you might enjoy.

There's children's museum, the zoo (free), the science museum, Grant's farm - - - tons of things to do!!!

Antiques, Grants Farm, sounds like something I would like to see and do as well as find an Amish Settlement.
I read that there is one about 70 miles north of St. Louis in Bowling Green, Mo.
Does anyone know anything about it?

You MUST go to Ted Drewe's and get a frozen custard (they come in a gazillion flavors!). It's not a great part of town, but you usually have to stand in line to get one.

Not sure they are opened yet in March. They close for the winter season.
