Re: Church Hoppers

UPC - Oxnard, CA 1976 - 1985 - moved to a different town
CLC - Stockton from 1985 - 1995 - moved out of state
UPC - Brownwood TX 1995 - 1997 - moved out of town
UPC - Dallas, TX 1997 - 2003 - GOD said GO!!
North Cities - Garland TX 2003 - Present

Only once did I move to another church in the same general area in which I live. The move was done ONLY after praying and then getting 2 phone calls from 2 ministers from 2 different states. They confirmed what I was feeling when I prayed. I also had a very real vision and heard God speak to me regarding the move.

Yea me too Bro I was not an army brat but I was an army wife... it was bad enough... we had more moves in there but I did not go to church all of that time but any time I did I went back to my families church... the first one... Because we would always move around and then end up back here as he was by that time a government contractor..

And the other thing Mark is forgetting is that the majority of this forum is ministers or musicians etc.. Mark.. not everyone graduated bible school and had a stable church where they were going to be for a long time... a lot went to pastor churches or as you know music ministers normally do not stay at one place forever unless they have family there or are very closely connected... so for the majority on this forum.. these are minimal amounts of moves.

And others go through quite a journey to get where they're going. I haven't really bounced around as much as it looks, I spent 8 years out of church in there too. And I was looking for something, seeking, and didn't find it for a long time.
