Not much of a difference from an argumentative standpoint.
are there really that many pastors that teach specific dress standards from the pulpit? Most of what I've heard is extremely vague.

I really don't want to turn this into a standards thread...Coop gets enough blasting for it as it is...

The point is:

You wouldn't be living/doing what the pastor teaches. It's almost a no-win situation.

I am just plain happy that my kids wanted to live for God and be baptized.

I did contact an Apostolic church and spoke about baptism. It just did not work out and my kids drug their feet on going to The Apostolic church.

Besides that......what a witness and a testimony. The pastor of the church knew what I was doing.

What better way to witness Jesus name baptism than to just do it in a Loving Trinity Church.

totally understand.......just an observance I've made of late so its on my mind.

But I still bet that the not living/doing what the pastor teaches is not as widespread as we think......simply cuz it don't get taught.

Bottom line is coop baptized his kids in the name of Jesus. Way to go coop.

Apostolics have the truth, but are caught up in traditions and concrete mindsets.
