I doubt anyone from this forum tried to restore LW.I believe Richard Herd tried to help him after his arrest and the same thing happened .You are like alot of us were when we first came into contact with LW.He's a great guy,talented,fun to be around,and even sang with annoitting.I've spent time in prayer meetings with him,had great services,shouted,played wonderful music with him but .. he's got a problem that he's never owned up to.After so many indescretions most UPC people like me are tired of it all . I still admire him but I know he's going to keep repeating the behavior.

Why should anyone here do that? Has he shown contrition? (Not in my knowledge). I do know he's been kicked out of two prominent churches for his continued activities. Most of us are not even in a position to 'restore' him. It's tough to restore someone who continues in sin. What it appears you are doing is ignoring, not restoring.

Dave, You have hit the nail on the head. The question probably should be, "Does Lanny Wolfe WANT to be restored to God, or just restored to his singing career?"

But there are always going to be folks that think they are wiser, smarter, more compassionate, and more spiritual than all of the overwhelming testimonies that are offered about the man in question.

The problem is, these superior folks are gambling with the souls of their young men by having a predator around.

What this fella is good at is shifting the blame instead of facing reality.
