I am not at all sentimental, and am extremely frugal and practical, so....

I am also the one responsible for keeping the finances and doing all the budgeting. It just always seemed ridiculous to say, "Here honey, I budgeted $20 so that you can buy me a present"

Hahaha thank you QE...today is the first day I have been here on the forum in a long time....just busy and my life is changing for the better for sure...and I just have not been here! I probably won't be here on a regular basis...I just read embodies posts and sounds situation normal here...life goes on and we all do the best we can!

Its pretty settled that my sis will be moving in with us within the next few months...this is probably permanent for now until she needs or wants to move on...I am very excited about it. My sis and I are very close and I love her so very much! My hubby is like her brother and he loves her too, he is all for it because he wants her safe and he can be her covering!

This weekend is the big Daytona 500, and we have a small gathering planed for a day of racing, eating, and visiting...one person we have not seen in soooooo long and we are very excited to be givin some hugs and catch up!

It's Friday and my hubby is home today....YEAH!! I love it when he is home, so we are going to go shopping and prepare for our visitors and maybe get a ride in on the bike......we went out last night and it was wonderful! This new bike is like riding on a cloud!!!!! VERY nice!
