Re: Lasik Eye Surgery

Our son, who lives in California, had this done a couple of years ago in Arizona. He doesn't wear glasses anymore and is thrilled. They were allowed to video the whole procedure and wanted us to watch the clip. Umm, no thank you. Let your father watch it. Finding something else to do....... LOL

You do mean "laser eye treatment", right?

Yes Lasik is laser eye treatment.

They said (when asked where the matter goes) I would be able to smell the burned tissue! I am a wee bit scared. LOL!

Our son wasn't worried about it at all. He said it was a breeze. If he can do that and also get a vasectomy - you can do it! LOL!

Don't forget to post pictures of you with the goggles!! We want to make fun of you!!! LOL

Vasectomy is out of the question for me. There are a lot of side effects - including, but not limited to, sterility!

Uh, yeah, the point! (lol) It's much easier on a man. I think you posted about being against birth control, but all of it made me sick and other things. I don't do well with any type of medicine. Hardly can take aspirin.

So, it was easier for my husband to sing "soprano" than for me to go under the knife.

I approve of this message. LOL

I agree. God has given me the gift of procreation, (and I've found out that I'm quite fertile) and going through a procedure to prevent me from using my gift just doesn't set well with me.

But if you have a vasectomy, don't post pictures.

Re: Lasik Eye Surgery

My friend had it done. Before the surgery he could not read a large print calendar from 3" away from his face. Seriously! After, he could stand across the room and read it clearly. It's been several years since his surgery and he's still doing very well with it.

He recommends it to everyone.

On the other subject, I can't recommend the vasectomy, never have had it done. But if anyone ever mentions hysterectomy to you, BEG for it. Plead for it. GET IT at all costs!!!! Best thing that could happen to a woman.

Ooops, sorry, I forgot. You are STEPHEN Hoover. hehehe. Well, you tell that sweet little wife of yours what I had to say. That'll save you the trouble.
