That is too bad. I have not heard too many negative reports, but I am sure they are out there.

This machine has an adjustable diameter laser and greatly increases the success. The halo effect is greatly reduced by the lager laser and 95% can see well enough to discard glasses, while over 99% discard them with a free follow-up appt. Reading glasses may still be needed though - when that time comes for me.

The halo effect WAS there for several months but never bothered us. In fact, we probably wouldn't have even noticed (or cared) unless we were told by so many to "look for it!". And it mostly went away as the first year progressed.

And as for the vasectomy, the sterility part is really the only 'side effect' you WANT! LOL
