Re: Acts 10: The Smoking Gun?

I knew a man who repented of his sins and asked to be baptized in water. The pastor said he'd hold the baptismal service that following Sunday. The man was killed in a car wreck on Friday. He had been a new convert for all of 4 or 5 days.

Heres the question: If this person was lost because he wasn't baptized... who will be held accountable for his soul? Him? or the preacher? Or both?

I think he is with the Lord now. As much as I believe water baptism is part of salvation, it is not the actual dip in water that is the issue. It's the heart obedience and the non-physical spiritual operation God does in the baptism.
