The secret service does a pretty good job. I am not worried about him.
I'm not too confident in the secret service. Has anyone read the news from Obama's speeches in Texas?
The secret service contacted the law enforcement who were screening the people in line to see Obama in the Dallas convention center ... and told the officers to stop screening for weapons. So the majority of the crowds that saw Obama were not screened for weapons. Anyone could have walked in with a gun on them or in a bag and shot him.
Now, the secret service says it was all part of a "layered" protection in place, but refused to give anymore information.
Question ... does President Bush also get this "layered" protection where the first few get screened, but the rest don't? Yeah, that doesn't happen.

Maybe because of his politics, not his race. Which is why most politicians get assasinated.
