Single's Conference

Just got an invite to The Power of One in Memphis, Bro. Black's church. This was one of 5 I went to in 2005 and it was the best as far as its applicability as it relates to Apostolic Singles. I would encourage all single's to go and choose the classes that best describes where you are in process. It is the last week of June I believe...I'll have to read about it and post the exact dates.

Anyone think they might attend?

We have the same sister from our Church who went last year, going this year as well.

No thanks. I'll be watching my niece graduate from High School. I'd much rather be seeing her graduate than go to another apostolic singles conference.

I've never been all that impressed by them.

Man, I thought I was the only one who felt that way????

And I was a Singles Ministry Director to boot???

No, I am just not one of conferences of any kind. Been there, done that. They have lost their appeal to me.

To be honest there is very little coupling off. Most Apostolic Singles are forever single. Men who have never married by age 40 will never marry and most women over 40 are out of the loop for consideration as men their age can marry younger.

The great thing about the Memphis Single's Conference is it has great classes and awesome services. Just a great time to get together with other single friends.
