I used to be good to go on four hours sleep. Now I need at least 6 or 7 hours. Anything less, and it's next to impossible to get motivated in the mornings to do anything!!
Last night we were at church till nearly 11pm... by the time we got in bed, it was midnight. This morning when the alarm clock went off at 4:45-- hubby rolled over, picked up the phone and called into work.. told them to mark him down for half a day of vacation. He reset the clock, got up at 8:30-- and went to work to clock in at 10am.

He doesn't do that often.... in fact, I can't even remember any time in the last 10 years that he's just laid out of work for the morning... LOL Usually if he misses work at all, he's too sick to even get out of bed-- and has to have help to get to the doctors office. So I'm not complaining... besides, it was nice to get to have an hour with him this morning before he went to work. We sat in the office and watched the birds playing in the yard.
I did tell him when he comes in this afternoon, he better take a nap-- because we have another night of youth revival tonight... and he can't take the morning off again tomorrow.
