She who likely gave up everything else to help him build his church or get to that political office. All to be swept into the dust....

There needs to be insurance against cheating husbands for wives whose livelihood bites the dust when their husbands do.

Newman, Newman, you of all people should know that an education is the best insurance there is against such things.

I feel worse for pastors and preacher's wives than I do politicians. Talk about tossing your life into the dumper...I caint do nuthin but play the accordian and sing, so I'lls find me a mans... Get to school sisterern.

That's why, God willing, I'll make sure my daughter definitely will be going to college to get her degree. If I can afford to pay for her Master's too, I'll do it. I think too many parents just want their daughter to graduate high school, and then get married to a good man and have cute babies. But if she has no education or career skills to fall back on, what happens if her marriage doesn't work out?

I think when it comes to higher education, etc, we tend to set higher standards and expectations for our sons than our daughters... and I think that's unfortunate.
