Ferd, don't insult me. I haven't insulted you. Just because you have an opinion on something doesn't make your opinion right. I generally don't come to CH's defense, but he is making some good points. He is at least trying to put these events in some sort of Biblical context, which is a whole lot more than I can say for the rest of us.
Rev. Wright's words are Biblical in some way??

Rico, I fail to see how WWII and the bombing of those cities are Biblical either.
I am going to explain this to you just once. The Bible teaches we reap what we sow. The US has a history of meeting deadly force with overwhelming deadly force. JW used our bombing of Japan during WWII as an example, in his opinion, of the US going overboard in killing innocent people to win a war at all costs. Add the other things mentioned in JW's sermon and it isn't hard to see where he got the notion that 9/11 was the start of us reaping what we've sown all over the world. Hence, God is judging America, etc. etc. CH gets the connection JW is making in this sermon and is trying to get the people on this board to see that connection as well. I hope I have summed it all up for you.
